Workers’ Compensation

At Neuropax Clinic, we are focused on helping the injured worker by "Checking the Nerve". Evaluation and treatment of work-related injuries can sometimes overlook the possibility of a nerve damage, and patients can continue to suffer.

Dr. Hagan and Dr. Brown are committed to providing expert care for injured workers across all industries, focusing on restoring function, alleviating pain, and facilitating a safe and speedy return to work.  When an injury is significant enough to damage skin, bones, muscles or ligaments, it is likely that nerves are also injured.  Making that realization and treating the nerve injury can be the catalyst to eliminating pain and getting the patient back to work!

It is not uncommon that peripheral nerve disorders are misdiagnosed or missed completely. Often in cases of trauma, the limiting factor to return to work and daily life is pain.

This is commonly a residual nerve pain problem. With over forty years of combined experience and knowledge in treating work-related injuries, Dr. Hagan and Dr. Brown and the Neuropax team are well-equipped to provide accessible, accurate, and high-quality care.  They do so while protecting the patient from re-injury, minimizing lost time, and returning injured workers back to work safely and expediently.

Our Workers’ Compensation services include:
  • A dedicated workers’ compensation department to ensure accurate and timely communication between the injured worker, nurse manager and insurance adjuster.
  • Coordination of high-quality care and referrals to lead to better treatment outcomes and less disability.
  • A Worker’s Comp Hotline for immediate access to our office.
  • Evidence-based return-to-work and discharge protocols.
  • A Work Status Report is provided to the patient, the nurse/case manager and the adjuster at the time of  each appointment.
  • Same day appointments are available when necessary.
  • On-site Certified Hand Therapy.
  • Independent Medical Exams (IME), second opinions, medical record review, disability ratings and depositions are our specialties.
