Dr. David L. Brown, MD joins our team
Dr. Brown joined Neuropax Clinic in February. He brings 26 years of experience in reconstructive surgery from the University of Michigan, where he was the William C. Grabb Professor of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Brown is recognized internationally for his work in treating patients with chronic pain from nerve injury, with a special focus on pain following surgery including mastectomy, knee and hip replacement, hernia repair, abdominal surgery (ACNES) and foot and ankle surgery. He is also a leading expert in treating post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN, following shingles). In addition to being a Past President of the American Society for Peripheral Nerve, Dr. Brown has published many journal articles on nerve pain surgery, edited textbooks of plastic surgery, and has been awarded grants from the NIH to study patients’ outcomes following nerve surgery.
