Finally, we perform nerve decompression surgery of the lower extremities to provide relief to our patients that suffer from diabetic neuropathy. It is believed that an astounding 50% of the adult diabetic population suffers from some form of peripheral neuropathy depending on factors such as age, type of diabetes, etc. These patients present with highly variable symptomatology that makes conventional treatment extremely ineffective for the vast majority of patients.
