Taking care of people who are in chronic pain requires the care team to have empathy in their hearts. Every day our whole team learns from patients, their struggles, and how they have adapted their lives to survive with their pain. Every day I am amazed at their ability to stay focused and get through their altered state of life. Understanding this is the core of our “patient centric care model.” I have learned over the years that many providers try to just place patients into certain boxes. We have learned that often we need to connect boxes to develop the correct care pathways for patients with chronic peripheral nerve pain. Listening to the patient and hearing the symptoms they are having and matching their pain with the anatomical distributions provides the care pathway that focuses on them. It takes a focused desire to help someone out of their pain. We are honored to help our patients and receive great personal reward when we deliver peace back to their lives.

The innovation component comes from having courage to create new diagnostic tools or to apply known anatomy to design problem specific, patient specific surgical options. The ability and confidence to utilize good logic, applied anatomy, and surgical techniques allow us to uniquely accomplish this goal.

I often will say, “At Neuropax we function at the intersection of empathy and innovation “

The goal is a pain free life with Blue Skies ahead …

Neuro=Nerve

Pax=Peace
